General conditioning Tues.& Thurs.

We have been working on upper body core strength and some leg strength utilizing The Total Gym in the fitness room. And by we, I mean me as well. In fact, there is very little I have you do that I have not tried out at one time or another. We were a little shakey at first, but people are catching on and looking good. By using the TG we can do squats without weights and can isolate each leg. We are able to practice "running tall" by building up the strength in our shoulders, back, and arms. By lying on our backs and pulling up, we are able to strengthen our core. After three weeks I definitely feel a difference. By doing this twice a week throughout most of the season it will help us get an edge on the competition.
If we keep doing what we are doing we are going to get what we got. What we got isn't too bad, but hopefully by adding some strength training we will get even better.

When you see Ariel comment on her incredible biceps!
