Meet Tomorrow

Well we figured out who was running what at practice, but we didn't talk much about racing. There will be time for that later. A couple of words though - tomorrow when you sprint for the finish, which should start at or before the 200 meters, talk to your legs when they get tired. Just say to yourself "lift" on each stride. Remember to use your arm drive action that we practiced on the Total Gym.

Steve Prefontaine once said that he didn't race to see how fast he could go, but to see how much guts the other guy had. If he were alive to day I'm also sure he would say don't drink and drive.

Race hard tomorrow and have fun.
