Senior moment - Chris McIsaac
One of the fastest runners coming out of middle school, his eighth grade year, Chris McIsaac quickly showed that he would make an impact on the high school scene. He is on the top 20 list in both the 1600 and 3200. As a Sophomore, without prompting, he began to time the intervals in our workouts and did so the rest of his career. During his Junior year when others were injured he picked up the slack and was willing to do the 16, 32, 8 and sometimes 4x4.
Chris was elected captain of both the track and cross country teams. He was a good leader and was interested in organizing social events – even some I did not know about(-:
Chris is headed off to Linfield College where he plans to run and hopefully get a degree as well (-: We will all miss his whacky sense of humor and his leadership. Pink shorts forever!
