Winter Training and Stuff
Sixteen people showed up for winter training today. Today some of the athletes did hills and some exercised indoors and did weights. All sports are welcome to join in on this activity every Monday and Thursday.
CHS XC is up for aid stations for the Capital City Marathon Training Group Jan. 26 and February 2, 2008. Capital and Oly will be working together on March 1. If some teams do not respond we can take their spots and get $125.00 each time.
While walking today I stumbled across a dead possum on the hill near the green house. At least I think it was dead. After all they don't call it "playing possum" for nothing. I thought perhaps it would get up and wander away during my first lap, but it was still there stareing glassy eyed when I returned. Achilles gave it a long sniff and then went back to chasing tennis balls. It was still there on my third lap and it was noticed by Dalton during winter conditioning. If it is not there tomorrow it's possible it was acting, and if so, it should get an Academy Award.
