Kah Nee Ta - Help Needed

Due to the high number of campers this year and a couple of drivers canceling out we need another driver to help. Preferably we would like to have a male driver with a van due to sleeping arrangements. If a woman would be willing to drive she would have to: 1. Make arrangements at the lodge 2. Drive up and back in one day or share the drive as a delivery and pick up with another parent. 3. Share a very large tee pee with several snoring men - this has been done before.

Please call me if you can help at 918-1797.

Thanks.

Lakefair Run and Camp Kah nee ta

I have just returned from a back packing trip in the Central Cascades. Now it is back to work!

We need to have as many athletes as possible down at Heritage Park on Saturday July 18th at 7:00 a.m. to help put on the Lakefairfair Run. We are expecting about 400 competitors. This is our largest fundraiser.

Also, there are still openings for Camp Kah nee ta. Just e mail me (millrun@comcast.net) and let me know you are interested. Information to register can be found at the website listed in the last entry. Both boys and girls are signed up for this years camp.

The boys are running at 9:00 weekday mornings and the girls are at 10:00.

We need your help !

New Website

A new track and XC website has been created by Adam Saul. Today we posted information on Kah Nee Ta, the new 2009 XC schedule, and updated the boys school records. Hang in there with us while we make this transition. Here's how to access the new site:
http://capitaltrackxc.wordpress.com

Meanwhile, I had questions about what goes on at camp. If you look at all of my Millrun entries for July over the past couple of years there should be some reports.

15 people showed up for summer running this morning at 9:00. Perhaps you could make it 16 tomorrow. Se you at the front of the gym.
